Organize your clothes, and take them everywhere with you

Touch Closet is probably my favorite app, because I love my closet, and I wanna take it everywhere with me. It’s pretty simple and straightforward, you take pictures of your clothes and accessories and file them under the corresponding categories, you can then put together outfits and even shop for new clothes. I admit, it will take you a long time to input your whole closet, especially if u’re a shopaholic like me, but it will save you tons of time in the long run, because instead of ransacking your closet every time you go out, you just flip through a gallery on your phone and instantly find something to wear. It is especially useful for people with a lot of items, I always forget what clothes I have.

There are a lot of other wardrobe management apps, but I think this one is more stylish and easier to use, and it’s the only one that actually backs up your closet online, and you can access it on any web browser via your touch closet account. You register with your email and a password and it seamlessly syncs the items on your phone. You can also add new items from your browser on touchcloset.com and they will sync and appear on your phone.

The app has five tabs:

In the first tab of the application you can add new items, search your closet or just browse. When you add a new item, after you add the photo, you add a category, you can select a color, input the brand and everything. You can also edit or add to the predefined colors and categories in order to better organize your closet. You can edit already added items and the changes will automatically be backed up.

The second tab is outfits, where you can create, view and edit your outfits made with the items in your closet. This helps you get organized even more, you can see what goes with what, decide what to wear on special occasions or just everyday.

The third tab is the favorites tab where you can add your favorite items or outfits. In the shop tab you can shop for new items online and you can add them to your closet. The last tab is the settings tab, where you can manage colors and categories, get online help or go to touchcloset.com.

Once you go Mac*, you never go back

I am going to do a series of posts about gadgets for girls, and I will probably be biased because I prefer everything Apple. Feel free to comment and tell me how much u dislike it, I’m very stubborn, promise it won’t affect me. Anywayz I’ll also talk about other stuff, and I’ll try to the best of my ability to be objective.

I love my iPhone, and no, I won’t get into that, you have to make up your own mind why you love or hate it. One of my girlfriends always asks me what apps to get, what’s new and useful, etc., so my next post will be about my favorite apps, what they do and how they could be useful to you, most of the apps are also available on Android based devices and some on Nokia’s Ovi Store.

* I know, if u’re a girl you probably thought about MAC cosmetics, and yes, I love those too, and I will write posts about makeup, but I’m a geek and this one is all about that.

Jack of all trades, master of none

This is my very first post… on this blog.

If you get tired of my babbling, I’ll be sure to include pictures in my future posts, so u can skip the reading and just look at those.

I’m just a girl looking to help other girls, by sharing ideas, opinions and sometimes pictures. I got this idea from my girlfriends, who all seem to think, at one point or another, that I am an obnoxious know-it-all. They always come to me with questions about style, gadgets, haircare, whatever, and if I can’t immediately answer, I pretty much obsessively research the subject until I can give a helpful answer.

“vain - Having or showing an excessively high opinion of one’s appearance, abilities, or worth.”

I guess that sums me up pretty well, if I had been born a dude, I would have definitely been an ascot wearing dandy… Don’t get me wrong, I get the negative implications, the truth is I have an excessively high opinion about everyone, I choose to see the beauty in people, places, technology, and even though my feet are firmly on the ground, my head is always in the clouds.
